Q. Where is the Transfer Station and what are the hours of operation and do they charge for their services?
A. The North Simcoe Transfer Station is located at 1700 Golf Link Road (between Midland and Penetanguishene). Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Material for disposal must be sorted and the cost for disposal is subject to weight and type of material.  Household hazardous wastes such as paints, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides or other household chemicals can be safely disposed at the North Simcoe Transfer Station on selected Saturdays only.  For additional information contact 549-4500 or toll free at 1-800-567-9237.
