Art Slam 2018

Quest Art School + Gallery is pleased to announce the return of its ever popular ART SLAMwhere artists participate in a friendly competition, painting and creating art in front of a live audience. Audience members will be exposed to the wealth of artistic talent that exists in this community! Guests will enjoy music, a kinetic party atmosphere, and witness this fast-paced art making which gives them an up close and personal experience of the creative process. Guests will also have an opportunity to mingle with the artists, vote for their favourite works in each round, and bid on the paintings created before their eyes. Swan Soirée Fundraising Dinner

Location: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre (16160 Highway 12 East)

Swan Soirée will be an elegant evening consisting of a delicious dinner, live auction, over $2,500 in raffle prizes, and guest speakers to attest to the importance of the Wye Marsh’s efforts in Swan Monitoring and Conservation. The theme and primary benefactor of the event’s fundraising will be our Trumpeter Swan monitoring program. The Trumpeter Swan is integral to the Wye Marsh’s identity and the money raised will go to ensuring the winter habitat and feeding programs are maintained for many years to come. Tickets will be available for purchase either online, or in person at the front desk of the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. We are hopeful that you will be able to attend our Fundraising Dinner this year and look forward to greeting you. On behalf of the swans, thank you for considering the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre.
