Tay, Ontario : On July 18, Tay Township and Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will hold a grand opening of the newly relocated OPP extended service office (ESO) in Tay.
Mayor Scott Warnock, members of Council, and members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police will be in attendance.
Tay Township and OPP invite media to this event. Photo and video opportunities include an official ribbon cutting.

Tay, Ontario : The fire hazard rating in Tay is set to extreme due to prolonged dryness and extreme heat. This means a complete fire ban is in effect, prohibiting any form of open-air burning—including campfires, charcoal barbecues, fireworks and outdoor candles. Propane/gas camp stoves and lanterns are permitted and should be used cautiously and under constant supervision.
