Register for winter recreation programs and book ice time online

Posted on Thursday November 22, 2018

Tay, Ontario: Today, Tay Township launched its winter recreation programming. The Township offers a wide range of recreation programs including Art Attack for youth ages 8 to 12 and active living fitness programs such as Tai Chi, Yoga and Zumba for adults. The newly released Parks and Recreation Guide also features new online booking for Tay Community Rink as well as three festive events happening in Tay this season: First Light, Santa Claus Parade, and Tay Tree Lighting.

Participants can register online for recreation programs from the comfort of home thanks to an online system that was implemented earlier this year. New this season—users can also check ice rental availability at the Tay Community Rink and book ice time online.

“The online system provides a more convenient way for participants to book ice time and register for recreation programs,” said Bryan Anderson, Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities.

Residents who don’t have a computer or internet can use the public access computers available at Tay Township Public Library (all branches) to register for recreation programs and book ice time. Participants can also enroll in person at the Municipal Office (450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour).
