Update: Watermain Valve Exercising and Fire Hydrant Flow Testing

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) is continuing to perform watermain valve exercising and fire hydrant flow testing in Victoria Harbour, Port McNicoll and Waubaushene today, April 30, 2024.

Please note crews will be completing this work until 6:00 p.m.

As a result of this work, you may experience a change in pressure and/or some discolouration, sediment in the water, or perhaps even no water for short periods of time.

Water use during this time should be kept to a minimum to avoid discoloration from entering your home or business. During these times, it is advisable to check the water prior to doing laundry.

Should you experience discoloured water, run your cold water for 10-15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes and repeat the process.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Ontario Clean Water Agency at 1-866-775-7712.
