Portarama is organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers whose aims and objectives are:
- To provide the community with an annual family-oriented celebration on the Victoria Day weekend in the month of May.
- To improve upon the lifestyle within the community by providing a family-oriented events and programs.
- To help various community projects for the betterment of the community and people through donations of involvement through volunteerism and or cash donations.
