The Tay Fire and Emergency Services Department has a full-time Fire Chief, a full-time Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Prevention Officer, a part-time Chief Training Officer and over 60 dedicated volunteer firefighters that are committed to the protection of the citizens of Tay.

Services include responses to:

  • Carbon monoxide alarms
  • Chimney fires
  • Grass/brush fires
  • Hazardous material accidents
  • Ice/water and other rescues
  • Medical assistance
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Mutual aid
  • Public hazards
  • Structural fire calls and related calls
  • Weather-related Emergencies

Fire Department Locations

Tay Fire and Emergency Services Administration is operated from the Municipal Office at 450 Park Street in Victoria Harbour.

Tay Fire and Emergency Services operates from four fire halls that are located throughout the community. These halls are unmanned except during training exercises or after an emergency call.
