Winter Parking

In accordance with the Township Parking By-law, parking of a vehicle on any road from the 15th day of November in any year until the 1st day of April in the following year between the hours of 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. is prohibited.

No person shall park or stand a vehicle in such a manner as to interfere with the clearing of snow from the highway.

Parking during restricted hours may result in a fine and/or removal of the vehicle. If your vehicle is towed, additional towing and storage fees may also apply.

Toys for Tickets Program

Tay Township invites drivers who receive a parking ticket (with the exception of accessible parking violations) between November 15 and December 17, 2021 to pay the fine by donating a new unwrapped toy, gift card, or non-perishable food items. The donation must be of equal or greater value to the fine. Tay Township will accept donations, accompanied by a receipt showing the item(s) value, at the Municipal Office (450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour) during regular office hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) until December 17, 2021. Donations will support local food banks and Toy Drives in our community. For more information, contact: Justin Rounds, Municipal Law Enforcement Officer 705-534-7248 x248 email jrounds@tay.ca
