Interior background

Seniors Advisory Committee

As a Committee of Council, the Tay Seniors Advisory Committee (TSAC) shall act as a liaison to enrich and enhance the lives of seniors in the Township, identify barriers, form partnerships with the community, and act as a public forum for issues affecting seniors.

Tay Township is taking steps to become a more age-friendly community, where all residents can be active and engaged members of the community at every stage of life.

The Committee recently coordinated the purchase of four metal accessible picnic tables with funds provided through March of Dimes Canada and the Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle. The tables are located at Patterson Park, Bridgeview Park, the Tay Shore Trail parking area on Veterans Lane and the corner parkette in Waverley (County Rd. 27 and Hwy 93).

Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic this Committee is currently meeting by remote video and telephone conference.
