Be prepared: Environment Canada issues special weather statement for freezing rain Sunday afternoon into Monday morning
Tay Township reminds all residents to be prepared.
Safety Reminders:
- Take extra care when walking or driving. Surfaces may become icy and slippery.
- Postpone non-essential travel until conditions improve.
- Create an emergency plan and prepare an emergency kit with essentials such as:
- Drinking water
- Non-perishable food
- Medications
- First-aid supplies
- Flashlight and batteries
