Building and planning fees review now available ahead of public meeting
Tay Township’s Building Permit and Planning Application Fees Review is now available for public review ahead of the upcoming Public Meeting.
The Township retained Hemson Consulting to complete a comprehensive review of building permit and planning application fees. The review looks at the cost of providing these services, current fee revenues and fees charged by comparable municipalities. It also outlines proposed fees for consideration.
Residents and interested parties are encouraged to review the Building Permit and Planning Application Fees Review before the Public Meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Tay Township Municipal Office, 450 Park St., Victoria Harbour.
Council will hear comments from interested parties at the Public Meeting. Feedback received through the public consultation process will be considered before the fee bylaw is brought forward for Council’s consideration at a subsequent meeting.
