Tay, Ontario: New provincial restrictions impact Santa Claus Parade
As of Monday November 23rd, Simcoe Muskoka moved into the province’s orange “restrict” level, with further control measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
After consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health unit it is felt that with these new restrictions in place the planned parade, which saw Santa and various floats travelling throughout local communities should not proceed.
Tay Township looks forward to working with the organizers of this event for 2021, and encourages families to curl up with their loved ones and watch a classic holiday movie or televised holiday parade from another region.
