Notice of Water Service Disruption: 7th Avenue from Arpin Street to Athabaska Street, Port McNicoll, October 1, 2025

Please be advised that there will be a water service disruption for municipal water users along 7th Avenue from Arpin Street to Athabaska Street in Port McNicoll on Wednesday, October 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Tay Township Operational Services in partnership with the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be working to tie in the new McPhee Boulevard watermain to the 7th Avenue watermain. Please expect traffic delays in the area. 

During this time, there will be no water available for all affected properties. Following completion of the watermain works, you may experience a change in pressure and/or some discolouration, and sediment in the water. 

Should you experience discoloured water after the work has been completed, run your cold water for 10-15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes and repeat the process.
