Notice of Water Service Disruption – Keewatin Avenue Area

Please be advised that there will be a water service supply interruption for municipal water users in the Keewatin Avenue area on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, as Tay Township Operations Crews, in coordination with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), carry out valve replacement work.

As a result, the service shutdown will affect 250 homes; this includes residents located north of the 1st Avenue and Keewatin Avenue intersection, including 1st Avenue, Arthur Avenue and the Grandview Beach and Patterson Park areas. Additionally, residents along 5th Avenue north of Athabaska Street will be impacted.

This work will require a temporary shutdown of the watermain to safely install the new infrastructure. Excavation work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 17, with the shutdown taking place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

During this time, you may experience a change in pressure and/or some discolouration, sediment in the water, or possibly no water for short periods of time.

Notices from the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be delivered in advance to all affected properties.

If you have any questions, please contact the Ontario Clean Water Agency at 1-866-775-7712.
