Notice: Port McNicoll Water System Maintenance, May 7, 2026, 8am to 4pm

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be completing scheduled maintenance at the Talbot Booster Station in Port McNicoll on May 7, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

This work involves valve seat replacements and will require the booster station to be temporarily shut down for the duration of the work. 

Water service will remain available during this time. However, residents in Port McNicoll, may experience reduced water pressure throughout the day. 

The work is expected to take place during the day, with normal water pressure anticipated to return by 4:00 p.m., or when the work is completed. 

Should you experience discoloured water after the work has been completed, run your cold water for 10-15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes and repeat the process.
