Reminder: Here's How You Will Vote in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election in Tay Township

Tay Township will use internet and telephone voting for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election, making it easy and convenient for eligible voters to cast their ballot from wherever they choose. 

The voting period begins Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and closes Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. 

Before voting opens Registered voters will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail. The letter includes your unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) and instructions for voting by internet or telephone. 

During the voting period Using the information provided in your Voter Information Letter, you can cast your ballot online or by telephone anytime during the voting period. 

Need assistance? Voter Assistance Centres (VACs) will be available throughout the voting period to help eligible voters access internet or telephone voting, update their information on the voters list and receive assistance with the voting process. The Tay Township Municipal Office will serve as the primary VAC during regular business hours, with additional community locations and extended hours available throughout the voting period. 

Residents are encouraged to keep their Voter Information Letter in a safe place until they are ready to vote.
