Tay Township hosts 2nd Annual Wye Marsh Fundraising Dinner

Victoria Harbour, Tay Township ON: Tay Township is pleased to host the 2^nd Annual Tay Township Wye Marsh Fundraising Dinner on Friday, May 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Oakwood Community Centre (290 Park Street, Victoria Harbour). Supported by Tay Township and Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution, the event will feature live music by Adrien Robitaille.

Last year’s fundraising dinner raised nearly $7,000 in support of Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. “Tay Township is committed to helping conserve our natural heritage and resources” said Mayor Scott Warnock. “We’re pleased to host the upcoming 2^nd Annual Tay Township Wye Marsh Fundraising Dinner in support of the organization and its activities,” he continued.

Guests will be served a buffet dinner by regional dignitaries. The menu, prepared by ELM Catering, includes salad, choice of lasagna, chicken, garlic bread and buns, fruit, dessert, and coffee and tea at a cost of $20 per person or $35 per couple. Tickets for children 12 and under are $6. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon advance request.
