Portarama Family Festival is a Victoria Day Celebration created in 1985 to celebrate the town of Port McNicoll.

Portarama is organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers whose aims and objectives are:

  • To provide the community with an annual family-oriented celebration on the Victoria Day weekend.
  • To improve upon the lifestyle within the community by providing family-oriented events and programs.
  • To help various community projects for the betterment of the community and people through donations of involvement through volunteerism and or cash donations.

 

Portarama Fireworks Rescheduled

The Portarama fireworks will take place on Saturday, August 30th during Portarama's PARTY fundraiser at Patterson Park! The event will include: Live bands, BBQ, corn roast and support from the local fire department! Check out the details below!

Portarama Family Festival Appreciation Awards - Presented to community members outside the Portarama Committee in appreciation of their support and contributions to Portarama over the past year.

Vic Kelly Memorial Citizen of the Year Award - Presented to a community member in recognition of their extraordinary volunteer efforts dedicated to the betterment of the community.


Vic Kelly Memorial Youth of the Year Award - Presented to a youth community member in recognition of their extraordinary volunteer efforts dedicated to the betterment of the community.
