Tay, Ontario: New provincial restrictions impact Santa Claus Parade
As of Monday November 23 rd, Simcoe Muskoka moved into the province’s orange “restrict” level, with further control measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Tay, Ontario: Tay Township kicks off its Toys for Tickets campaign with a COVID-friendly twist.
For the past 5 years the toys for tickets campaign has invited drivers who receive a parking ticket (with the exception of accessible parking violations) between November 15 and December 15 to pay the fine by donating a new unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item of equal or greater value.

Please note that Winter Parking Restrictions take place November 15 to April 1.  Parking is not permitted on or within 10 feet (3.05 metres) of roads between the hours of 3 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Any vehicle parked on the road or within 3.05 metres of the roadway could be ticketed regardless of a snow event.
