Council Transparency & Accountability>
Transparency & Accountability>
Tay Township is committed to providing effective and responsive local government for all residents. This includes fostering transparency, encouraging public participation, and ensuring open access to information that impacts the community.
Key principles:
- Responding to public needs and valuing community input;
- Delivering high-quality services to residents; and
- Promoting the efficient and responsible use of public resources
Accountability and transparency are essential to good governance and help build public trust. These principles are upheld through open, accessible processes that guide all municipal activities and services.
Declaration of Pecuniary Interest Registry>
When members of Council, as well as Committees and Boards, discuss topics that involve personal interests, they must publicly declare these conflicts.
