Due to the ongoing watermain break on Mitchells' Beach Road, the Ontario Clean Water Agency and Tay Township are asking all residents to refrain from watering lawns or using water for other non-essential purposes for the remainder of the evening, Saturday, July 5, 2025 while crews continue to address the watermain break.

Watermain Break and Road Closure on Mitchells' Beach Road, Victoria Harbour, July 5, 2025

A watermain break has occurred on Mitchells' Beach Road in Victoria Harbour. Crews from Tay Township, in partnership with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), have been dispatched and are actively responding to the situation.
As a result, Mitchells' Beach Road is closed to through traffic until further notice.
At this time, the extent of the break is unknown. In the meantime, residents on Mitchells' Beach Road are advised to take the following precautions:
- If you need to use your vehicle, please move it out of your driveway and park it on the road closer to Reeves Road.
- Fill containers with water as a precautionary measure in case of temporary service disruption.
